Yes absolutely! Our Birthweight Dolls are for anyone who wishes to hold their baby again (weight up to 5kg).

How do I choose the right weight?

Select the closest weight to your baby’s birthweight in increments of 100g. Please note due to the handmade nature of the dolls we do our best to get the exact weight but the weight may vary by 50g -80g.

Is the material safe?

Yes, dolls are made with securely enclosed iron sand and hypoallergenic materials.

Please always supervise children with the doll.

How long does it take to make?

Each doll is handcrafted and ships within 3-4 weeks. Around 3-5 hours of craftmanship are put into each doll.

Can I customise the embroidery?

Yes! Add the first letter of your baby's name, or select a rainbow or crescent moon.

The girls will have a little bow stitched in their hair, the boys will not.

why our dolls matter.

When my son Alfie was born with a Congenital Heart Defect I got to hold him for 30 secs and then he was whisked away to PICU. From then we got to hold him maybe 3 times in 6 weeks. 👶🏻 And even then he was intubated and it was very difficult with all the cords and tubes and he was in pain and uncomfortable. 💫

I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to bond with him, because we couldn't enjoy skin to skin and all the 'normal' things you would with your newborn. 😔

The thought of being able to hold him again, and feel his tiny 2580g weight makes me emotional. 🥹
